FOLDERSIZES REMOVAL INSTRUCTIONS
You can uninstall FolderSizes at any time using the standard procedure for the Windows operating system.
Standard Uninstallation Method
- Ensure that FolderSizes is not running (e.g. close the main window and check that no background processes remain active in Task Manager).
- Click on the Windows Start button.
- Select Control Panel.
- Click Add or Remove Programs (on Windows 7) or Programs and Features (on Windows 8, 10, and 11).
- Locate FolderSizes in the list of installed programs.
- Select FolderSizes and click Uninstall or Remove.
- Follow the on-screen prompts in the uninstaller and confirm your intent to remove the software.
- Allow the uninstaller to complete the removal process, which typically takes less than a minute.
We recommend that you reboot your computer after uninstalling FolderSizes to ensure that all components are removed from memory.
Alternative method
You can also uninstall FolderSizes via its Windows Start menu group. To do so, click Start, click All Programs, and select FolderSizes. The FolderSizes start menu group will expand to show an Uninstall option, which you can select to remove the product.Troubleshooting
